Aluminium windows

Although many companies no longer offer aluminium as part of their portfolio, we believe it to be an extremely viable domestic option and of course, it is still very much the material of choice in the commercial sector.

Aluminium conforms to today's stringent regulations, it's slim, crisp profile cannot be matched and of course, it can be manufactured in any colour of the rainbow.

The original domestic aluminium system relied on a timber subframe, and this can still be produced today, but most customers prefer a slimmer line, with as little maintenance as possible.  Therefore, aluminium windows and doors are usually installed directly to the brickwork.

Secondary double glazing offers heat and sound insulation, without having to change your existing window frames.  In certain cases it is the only option available if your home is listed or in a conservation area, and the original windows cannot be removed.  Our secondary glazing system comprises an aluminium outer frame, joined to a seasoned hardwood surround.  This allows for an unobstrusive installation, even in the most difficult situations.  Secondary glazing can be fixed, it can slide, hinge and lift out, depending on the practical requirements.  Standard colours are white, silver and brown, but any RAL colour can be produced to accomodate indivdiual requirements.
